Understand and operate within a professional editing workflow - with particular emphasis on beginning a project and loading footage.

Exhibit a good grasp of the fundamentals of professional video editing - building a sequence and working within the timeline.
LO3
Navigate and operate professional editing software to a basic standard.
LO4
Exporting - Understand the need for different codecs and formats and show an ability to export different file types for different scenarios.

Editing Skills - Post Production Techniques
Upon completion, students will understand the fundamental technical skills fo rprofessional editing. They will be able to - Start a project - Link or Import media - Place footage on the timeline in various ways - Work with the media in the timeline - Create basic effects - Export their edit.
