This module aims to introduce students to project based learning and develop their oral and written communication skills. The module will introduce students to project planning and structured engineering design, while engendering an awareness of ethical and safety issues in engineering. The students will participate actively in writing activities (individually and in collaboration) that model effective scientific and technical communication in the workplace.
