On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Recognise a range of non-fatal, property and deception offences in Irish criminal law and demonstrate knowledge and critical understanding of the key elements of each.
LO2 Identify the various defences which may be available to a defendant in a criminal case and demonstrate knowledge and critical understanding of the key elements of each.
LO3 Analyse the law and employ knowledge and understanding in solving relevant problems.
