Module Description: The aim of this practical learner-centred module is to allow students to engage in applied business scenarios. Through this, it is envisaged that they will apply theory, synthesise knowledge and develop key transferable skills. This module will serve as a capstone module in which knowledge acquired in other modules will be applied.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Indicative Content
Introduction to Module:
Introductory sessions and a series of workshops will be conducted on the following topics: Enquiry-based learning; PBL; Case studies; Business simulations; Thinking tools
Module Content:
A series of business tasks will form the fundamental learning blocks of the module. The tasks are carefully chosen to ensure the students meet the learning outcomes of the module. Students will jointly develop a requirement specification with their client, detailing the various aspects of their project. Tasks will cover a wide range of business disciplines, will demand specific knowledge and will enable the student to develop a relevant skill set.
