Module Description: This module aims to introduce students to Management. It describes the nature of Management and analyses the business environment within which all organisations operate. Principle management theorists contributions are described and evaluated. Guidelines are described in the terms of starting a business. Finally in this module the key current management challenges are recognised and explained.
