Module Description: The aim of this module is to develop in the student an understanding of technology in business and to conduct a project which integrates a number of computer applications, producing a high quality report and presentation.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Evaluate a range of technologies encountered in modern organisations including Information Systems:Concepts and definitions, organisational strategy and competitive advantage, data management and protecting information assets in the organisation.
LO2 Create and manage a database and learn key features of Publisher
LO3 Produce a final report and presentation which requires the students to integrate business and computer applications and which requires the use of advanced computer application skills
