(1) Understanding Research
Research methods, scientific study, critical investigation, systematic review.
(2) Research contemporary construction built environment issues.
Analyse, synthesise and carry out a critical investigation on key issues affecting the built environment.
(3) Introduction to research methodologies.
Theoretical frameworks, outline of research methodologies
(4) Report Writing
Effective use of information sources (library, literature search), Time Management and Planning, Synthesis of information from articles, Report Writing and Presentations, Plagiarism, Referencing
